Hybrid Architecture
Established in 2003 by Robert Humble and Joel Egan, HyBrid Architecture and HyBrid Assembly integrate design, research and construction into one seamless process. The utilization of off-site fabrication technology allows for evocative solutions to complex programmatic restraints. Ultimately, HyBrid is interested in maximizing efficiency, whether that be in time, money or natural resources.
Inhabit prefab mixed use
In collaboration with Mithun Architects, HyBrid designed Inhabit to fill the need for high-quality, affordable, modular housing in high density settings. read more »

HyBrid was recently named the winner of a competition sponsored by the King County Parks department to create a camping structure from re-purposed cargo containers. read more »
Lei-Sui residence begins construction
HyBrid Assembly has begun construction of a 2500sf home located in Kirkland, Washington along Lake Washington. Designed by HyBrid Architecture, this highly efficient home features an adaptable floor plan, rainwater catchment and filtering system (potable water), hydronic heating, and photovoltaics. read more »
CALI Work Lofts
Project Description:
HyBrid recently began design on our latest cargotecture project – the CALI Work Lofts. Located in an urban arts district the structure is intended to serve as a office space and business incubator for the creative class.
Studio 320

Remington Court Townhouses
Project Description:
To break down the massing of the two buildings and to address the small scale of the adjacent neighborhood, the two structures were sited to allow southern solar access and view corridors to all four units. read more »
Lane Street modular update
As of March 2011 the Lane Street Modular project is complete and occupied. Developed in collaboration with GreenFab LLC and on track to be certified as LEED platinum, this project sets a benchmark for a sustainable future.
